At last the boat came by and we set out sailing, gliding on the backwaters, silenced by the stillness of the nature’s womb, losing sense of time & space. Here and there, stark barren trees told us where the land lay. We wondered whether we were dissolving and going back into Nature!!
The mist hadn’t spared anything. Ominous grey clouds seemed to hang around too. But the trees knew better. They swung in the wind, as though to clear the mist and help the Sun to rise! So we witnessed the ‘Dance for the Dawn’.
Having reached the spot at 06:15 in the morning, we sat in the car with near-zero visibility engulfing us, waiting for the mist to clear and reveal the backwaters that lay ahead of us somewhere…
The Sun fought valiantly to cut through the mist that enveloped him and spalshed the backwaters with some of his molten gold, heartily lending a shimmer to the surface.
